The drainage project turned out to be quite a bear. We finished the last bit of mortar smoothing at 7pm the night before my flight. The project was made very difficult due to lack of availability and quality of supplies. We attached the gutter system to the roof as best as we could. I truly hope the system continues to work and is durable enough to provide relief to the front of the compound. All of the Liberian workers were extremely diligent during this project and were very committed to meeting my deadline. I am proud of the guys and all the hard work they invested.
